1931 Photograph of the most famous of all gangsters Al "Scarface" Capone as he appeared in court on charges of tax evasion along with his attorney Michael Ahern. Of all the horrific crimes committed by Capone, this is the one that stuck and finally got him locked up! A spectacular example in fine condition issued by Wide World Photos and stamped on the back with a full paper caption. This is possibly the finest image from his famous trial that we have ever handled! Photo has some light creasing at the edges but it presents beautifully.
