Original studio photo of Marilyn Monroe from her first major role in the film "Asphalt Jungle" from 1950. This is essentially her first film as she was just a bit-part actress before this and MGM felt this would be a good time to break her out in a major role. The film was not a box office smash and nobody really knew what Marilyn would become in the future and as a result original images from "Asphalt Jungle" are extremely rare today. This example captures Marilyn in her famous long hair she wore in the film and really accentuates her classic sex-appeal. Photo has great clarity and some light wear and a crease across the top from editorial use being the only flaw. Photo was trimmed down a bit from artistic use at a newspaper but it looks great and is a Type 1 guaranteed!
