1956 Important photograph of Bill Russell from the Boston Celtics, taken during his rookie year with the team, as he skies over the Rochester Royals for two points. An incredible work of photography, crystal clear and bold, this is one of the best images of Russell we have ever seen. While not dated, the photo is clearly very old and does not fluoresce under a black light, seeming to indicate it is a 1960's example at the latest. While it is possible this dates to 1956, we feel it is an early 1960's example that would still fit into our window for a "Vintage 1" but PSA will likely call it a Type 2 c. 1960's so please keep this in mind when bidding.
