1922 Rare photograph of mascot Joe Ryan from the St. Louis Browns in full uniform at the ballpark. Standing proudly with his hands on his hips, this is one of the only images of a mascot taking center stage in the major leagues that we have ever seen. Issued by the Keystone View Company and with a full paper caption as well, the photo presents well with a crease on the left side and some pinholes and paint in his shadow from editorial use. The photo looks much better than the technical grade and is a fine piece of baseball history.
