In what can only be described as one of the greatest images of Babe Ruth that was ever taken, this masterpiece shows Ruth holding his bat and posing for a studio photographer (Nikolas Murray) in full uniform. This image has been reproduced a million times, but this is the one of the few original examples that we have ever seen in any form. While this specific example dates to the late 1970's (about fifty years after it was taken) and has a date of 1981 (the latest this could be from) it is still a forty year old example in great shape!
