1891 Cabinet photograph of Jesse Riggs from Princeton University and posed in full uniform. He had shaved the mustache he wore during his early years at Princeton (1888-1890) and was now the team captain in his senior year of 1891! An All American and one of the best players in the country, this is the only image of Riggs we have ever handled and it presents beautifully on a full Pach Brothers mount. There is some editorial artwork added for publication which could be removed, but otherwise the photo is essentially perfect! A piece of early football history that is being offered here for the first time ever!
