Large c. 1940 photograph of a pensive Chinese fighter pilot ready to do his duty for his country at the beginning of WWII. Images like this were usually photos of photos that were send back by soldiers during WWII, but this one is crisp and clean, off the original negative and stamped on the back by the Chinese military! Condition and quality are both outstanding.
