The 1915 White Sox opened the season on the road and were on a six game losing streak when they came back to Chicago for their home opener. As part of the festivities were a huge floral wreath and both teams gathered around home plate for ceremonies. Prominently pictured is White Sox manager Pants Rowland and several Browns players including Hall of Famer Bobby Wallace among others. A rare image from the start of what would be the big turn around for the White Sox that would lead them to the World Series a few years later. A silver gelatin rarity that presents well and might be a unique survivor in the hobby. An incredible piece of White Sox history that is being offered here for the first time ever!
