1920 Extremely rare and important photograph of baseball star Stella Friss (who changed her name to Maggie Riley) as she was barnstorming across America with her team, the Devil Dogs, and even played at the Polo Grounds. One of the greatest lady baseball players of all time, this is her finest photograph we have ever seen and it shows Riley in uniform and leaping for a high liner. Condition and quality are both outstanding with some light editorial paint along the extreme borders.
