1919 Portrait photograph of the young hero to emerge like a white knight from the tainted black sox scandal, Dickie Kerr from the White Sox. With starters Lefty Williams and Eddie Cicotte throwing games on purpose, Kerr stepped in and gave everything he had end route to winning two games for the White Sox. Taken by photographer Charles Conlon and stamped on the back with his handwritten notes as well, this is a fine original specimen dates on the back from the 1919 World Series..
