1914 Crystal clear and bold portrait photograph of extremely rare New York Yankees pitcher Les Channell. Images of the pitcher are tough with this being the only portrait we have seen, stamped on the back by Paul Thompson. Channell is so rare that even his image on baseballreference.com is a grainy scan from an old newspaper. This is an exciting new discovery from the archives of the Baseball Magazine and offered for the first time since 1996 when it was sold as part of their archive.
