1916 Statuesque batting photograph of Hall of Famer Tris Speaker, striking an incredible pose at the ballpark in uniform with the Cleveland Indians. Stamped on the back by superstar photographer Louis Van Oeyen and in great shape, this is one of the finest images of Tris Speaker known to exist in the world. The condition of the image is great with note to some artistic tracing done for editorial use. All items from Tris Speaker are undervalued in the hobby and this is one of his best photographs out there. Photo comes with a full letter from PSA identifying this as a Type 1. This photo was also used for the cover of the famous "Dunn Day" program which is coveted by collectors, placing it early in the season and making it possibly the first image of Speaker in uniform with Cleveland.
