The discovery of King Tut's tomb by Howard Carter launched an absolute craze into all things Egyptian in America. Everything went Egyptian, but especially fashion. Jewelry and clothing immediately started reflecting the treasures and costumes found in the tomb and this photo, dated 1923 on the back, is a perfect example of this fad! Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a couple pinholes from editorial use being the only flaws.
