Vintage c. 1919 portrait photograph of actress Sarah Bernhardt from the latter part of her career as it was being announced that her health might make it impossible to ever appear on the stage again. A rare image from one of the most important actresses of the 19th century, this was issued by the Keystone View Company in the early 1920's. Photo has some pinholes but it otherwise is in pretty nice shape overall.
