1920's Portrait photograph of Henry Lane Williams who was one of the top names in American football from 1900-1921 as a former star and then coach of the University of Minnesota. Images of Williams are extremely rare with this one issued around the time of his death (1931) and it has stamps on the back from the team. This is the only image of Williams we have ever handled and it presents great with a small paper tag glued to the front by a newspaper archive.
