Rare 1917 photograph of Hall of Famer Bill Fincher of Georgia Tech as he demonstrates his kicking form that made him the best ever up to that point in football history. While the image is valuable for including such a fine player, it is also amazing for the crazy but really cool form of holding the ball for the kicker back in the day! Issued by the Central Press and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well. Images of Fincher are VERY rare. Photo has some pinholes but it presents well otherwise.
