Large 1951 portrait photo in uniform of the most feared slugger in the game Stan Musial. With a dark background and a cocky pose, this appears to be the work of a skilled lens man and in fact, it was taken by noted photographer George Dorrill. A beautiful image in great shape, this is on of the best images of Musial we have seen with deep clarity and a perfect pose at the ballpark in uniform! Another example of this photo sold for $943 in a previous auction and that one had the Dorrill stamp on the back so help pinpoint the photographer.
