DiMaggio hit one home run in game four of the World Series before calling it a career just a few days later. Seen here at the Polo Grounds and connecting with a mighty swing, Joe was still in his follow through when this photo was snapped, but within a few seconds he would be circling the bases and heading home, one last time.
