One of the earliest black stars that had huge success in the major leagues was Luke Easter. He came from the Homestead Grays and had monster years from 1950-1952 with the Cleveland Indians. The offered image captures him in Mayaguez uniform between 1947-48 and is the earliest and rarest image of Easter we have offered. An underrated and undervalued star, this is a great value!
