1919 Portrait photograph of Chicago White Sox banished star Swede Risberg as he was captured in his uniform at the World Series. The photo was re-issued in 1926 as it was being announced that Risberg had new information about the gambling scandal that would implicate twenty additional big leaguers! There is no evidence he was ever taken seriously or divulged this info and it would be interesting to hear what he had to say! Regardless, this is a beautiful 1919 image of Risberg from the greatest scandal in baseball history!
