1938 Double weight studio photograph of the New York Yankees and taken by noted photographer Cosmo Sileo. While there are many reproductions of Cosmo-Sileo photographs out there, this is a fantastic original that is actually quite rare. The image is also important as it was taken in the final season in which Lou Gehrig was an everyday player and he is pictured second from the right in the middle row along with Joe DiMaggio (top row fourth from the left). A really beautiful piece of photography and with crystal clarity. Completely original to 1938 and this one grades a perfect 10/10!
