Incredible 1984 photograph from the Summer Olympics in Los Angeles and showing young basketball prodigy Michael Jordan, wearing number 9 and dunking against an opponent. His teammate Patrick Ewing looks on in the background as if to know somehow that this was just the beginning for Jordan. Images of Jordan from before his NBA career are rare and new discoveries are impossible with this being one of he best showing the star dunking the ball which he would become famous for. The photo comes with two other images for provenance, one of the scoreboard inside the arena and another capturing an outside event. Each of these comes stamped on the back by Kodak and each is DATED 1984 making this a slam dunk for PSA to give it a Type 1 as well. The photo of Jordan dunking is a bit smaller than the others measuring about 2.25x3.5 inches. One of the most historically important Jordan images we have ever handled!
