Before the June 25, 1947 baseball game at Yankee stadium between the Yankees and Indians, the crowd was treated to an exhibition of professional tennis. The court was set up between first and second base and it played out well in front of a record breaking crowd! Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a paper caption as well, this is an unusual piece of baseball history showing how fluid sports and promotions were back in the day!
