Outside the realm of superheroes, perhaps the most famous comic strip of all time is "Archie." The artist behind the strip was named Bob Montana, a relatively reclusive man who died young. Images of Montana are extremely rare, especially if they are connected to the comic strip that made him famous. The offered important new discovery from the files of King Features shows Montana working on a larger Sunday strip and seeming perplexed with some writers block. The title has been added to the paper, but the boxes are blank. A unique new discovery that is being offered here for the first time ever, the image dates to around the late 1940's and presents beautifully.
