The most important early team in United States hockey history is the St. Paul Pres School in New Hampshire. They staged the first game in the country, then organized the first teams that absolutely dominated the competition. They would even venture to Canada and play the best up there, sometimes even winning, but always earning the respect of the country. The greatest early player in U.S. history, Hobey Baker, also became at star at St. Paul. The offered team photograph is from about 1916-1918 and has all the players in uniform and listed on the back. Despite some pinholes, the photo is a piece of early American hockey history!
