In the entire 20th century, Charlie Berry is one of the top athletes of all time. He was a football and baseball star, a professional player at the highest level in both. He was also a coach in both leagues and an umpire as well. Nobody, not even Jim Thorpe or Bo Jackson, has the resume of Charlie Berry. It is weird that he is relatively unknown, but here he is in uniform c. 1935 with the Athletics and stamped on the back by photographer George Burke. If you have a minute, look him up; it is worth a few minutes of your time!
