Large 1920's image of 1919 Chicago White Sox Gambler Buck Weaver as he appears in Court presumably trying to clear his name... again. Weaver is constantly mentioned among the biggest casualties of the scandal as it is known that he was aware of the conspiracy and his only crime was not reporting it. He spent the remainder of his life trying to clear his name to no avail as he would die a banished ballplayer! Photograph is dated on the back 1927 (file mark only) but it is likely that it predates this. Condition is quite nice and this is the only example of this exact image we have ever seen.
