In 1919 as a way to get more men to the ballpark during the waning days of WWI (and with attendance suffering) the Chicago Cubs used pretty girls as their ushers. This is the only image showing the ladies in their uniforms that we have ever seen and it presents beautifully. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a long paper caption as well.
