1933 Extremely early photograph of young San Francisco Seals teenager Joe DiMaggio as he is congratulated after hitting safely in his 50th consecutive game. He would go on to hit in 61 consecutive games, but on this day he got to meet Mayor Angelo Rossi after the game, still wearing his uniform. An extremely rare image that presents well with note to a spot of discoloration on the upper right and a crease from news room use. Early image of DiMaggio are rare and this is the only example of this one we have ever seen.
