Baseball is the sport that has done the best job at keeping statistics and records, but even with the millions of stat lines and names, there are mysteries and here is another one. In 1924 a man identified on the back as "Irben" was turning heads at spring training with the champion Yankees. He was doing well enough that a photographer for a national news organization took this image and released it, but today we have no ide who this man was. A beautiful image in great shape, hopefully this lot will solve the mystery!
