Stunning 1935 original silver gelatin photograph of Babe Ruth, back in uniform with Boston, and posed on the dugout steps holding three bats and ready for a chance to knock another one out of the park. A unique piece of photography that absolutely dates to 1935, this is silvered from age and is a high quality work of photography considering that most images taken during the Great Depression were done on bad paper stock. Perhaps the finest image of Ruth in a Braves uniform that exists and almost certainly a unique survivor in the hobby. Photo presents beautifully with crystal clarity and a small corner crease being the only flaw. There are a couple small pieces of tape on the back from being mounted in a photo-album at one time.
