1910 Original cabinet mounted photograph of William Howard Taft as he started an American tradition by throwing a ball from the stands to open the professional baseball season in Washington. This is the only known original example of this photograph we have ever seen in any form and it is completely vintage. Mounted to thicker board and die cut for publication, this is one of the most important pieces of baseball history we have ever handled.
