1910 Stunning portrait photograph of pitcher Deacon Phillippe from the Pittsburgh Pirates. An underrated star who could easily be in the Hall of Fame, this is the work of photographer Paul Thompson and bears his stamp on the back. Of utmost importance to collectors is the fact that this image was used to make Phillippe's T205 baseball card. One of only a handful of examples known, this one is clear and bold with a small crease and chip on the upper right corner being the only flaw.
