1910's Silver gelatin photograph of New York City taken from an early airplane and focusing on the iconic Polo Grounds, home of the New York Giants baseball team. One of the earliest aerial photographs of the city we have handled, this was from a large portfolio of "New York Views" found in the archives of Underwood and Underwood with the number on the corner corresponding to the negative. Offered here for the first time ever and likely a unique piece of art, there are a few small areas of wear that do not detract from the photographs visual appeal.
