1906 Silver gelatin team photograph of a Japanese team, segregated but allowed to play in the top league on the island, and pictured in Hawaii. The photo features thirteen team members in full uniform, beautifully posed at Aala Park and with poignant American flags draped behind the team. The photo is as good as prewar photography gets and presenting with perfect clarity. This lot also comes with a postcard of Aala Park which is also quite a rarity.
