Beautiful large 1929 portrait style photograph of Hall of Famer Connie Mack posing at the ballpark on the eve of the World Series. The Athletics were pretty bad between 1913 and 1929 but now Mack had the best team again and was excited to get back to his winning ways! Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a nice paper caption, this is one of his finest images ever taken!
