By 1956 the Washington Senators had cemented their place as the worst team in the American League, but things were starting to change. They had a kid named Killebrew from Idaho that looked promising and other help was on the way. They would eventually turn their fortunes around and a shift to Minnesota would propel them into the World Series in 1965 and make them one of the best clubs in baseball. Stamped on the back by Don Wingfield, this is a high grade example.
