Rare 1951 four-part composite photograph of Hall of Famer Monte Irvin stealing home against the Yankees during the first game of the World Series. Irvin was actually supposed to be the first player to break the color barrier but turned down the opportunity and his images are undervalued considering his place as a pioneer in the game. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back, the image presents well despite an obvious corner chip.
