1938 Sweeping action photograph of Hall of Famer Al Simmons taking a monster hack at a ball during spring training as a member of the Washington Senators. A really beautiful piece of photography, amazingly the ball is seen in the image having just come off his bat. Stamped on the back by Acme and with crystal clarity, the photo presents well with some corner wear from news-room use.
