1923 Posed photograph of star infielder of the New York Yankees, Wally Pipp leaning on his bat and appearing every bit the future of the club. The only problem for Pipp, there was this rookie named Gehrig coming up who would take his job a few years later in 1925. One of Pipp's most famous images ever taken, this is stamped on the back by the International News and in great shape.
