1921 Rare photograph of the two full-time coaches for the Boston Red Sox, perched atop the dugout steps in full uniform. Hugh Duffy, the greatest hitter of the late 19th century is pictured alongside famous coach Jimmy Burke and the dup was captured by famous photographer Charles Conlon at the ballpark, Duffy is seen with ball in hand and this is the only image of him by Conlon we have ever seen! Condition and quality are both exceptional making this a perfect 10/10 with Conlon's handwriting and stamp on the reverse.
