Dave Robertson won back to back National League home run titles in 1916 and 1917 before Uncle Sam came calling. He missed the 1918 season because of WWI, then tried to rebound and get back to where he left off. He couldn't. 1919 Was a wash and although he had a few more good years in him, it just wasn't the same as it was before the War. The offered photograph shows the slugger taking a mighty hack and swinging for the fences as a new member of the Chicago Cubs. A unique new discovery offered here for the first time ever and in great shape making this a perfect 10/10!
