Incredible photograph dating to October 12, 1912 showing a sweeping view of the crowds at the Polo Grounds during the World Series taken by photographers perched atop the roof themselves. Spectators in the bleachers are ready for action but taking a moment to turn their attention to the photographers. With no safety harnesses or railings, these guys were taking their lives into their own hands but the result is an amazing photograph. Offered here for the first time ever from the archives of Underwood and Underwood!
