The story of Roger Touhy is an interesting one. He was at one time one of the top Prohibition gangsters in the World. Al Capone wanted his turf and conspired with other Gangsters to frame Touhy for kidnapping (another gangster no-less) and it weirdly worked despite an openly corrupt trial. Touhy later escaped from Prison, was caught, sentenced to more time behind bars, but then released in 1959 when more evidence came to light about the corrupt trial 25 years earlier. Finally it seemed Touhy was catching a break.... or not! 22 Days after being released he was gunned down in a mob hit. The offered graphic image shows Touhy's lifeless body on a Chicago Street moments after the assassination. Photo is in great shape and presents well.
