Lot Description  

1949 Photograph of Cleveland Indians pioneer star Larry Doby as he is congratulated by fellow Hall of Famer Lou Boudreau after belting a home run. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back, the photo presents beautifully but it has a staple hole on the lower left and some paper loss that is hard to see as it blends in with Boudreau's jersey. Images of Doby are undervalued and this is a nice one.
