1927 Photograph of American League President Ban Johnson at his desk near the end of his career in baseball. The photo was used in 1931 to announce that Johnson was near death and would be requiring blood transfusions to save his live. He would pass away about a month after this image was taken. Photo presents well with a light crease on the upper left corner. Issued by the Associated Press and stamped on the back with a paper caption as well.
