Original photo of the 1944 Invasion of France from the famed D-Day offensive. Landing craft, observation balloons and soldiers mark the large scale of the attack and captures it like no other image out there. While vintage D-Day photos are scarce in any form, this was Eisenhower's personal favorite! Issued by the United Press in 1969 (25th anniversary of the event), this is an important photograph and of only a handful off the original negative we have ever handled! Condition is really nice.
