1923 Large and important photograph of Communists marching in Hamburg in protest of the new government in Germany that was oppressive. Among these protesters was a young man named Adolf Hitler who would soon make a name for himself and change the fate of the world in the process. The photo shows communists arrested and being marched off to jail. These are the men a decade later that would create the new "nazi" regime, making this one of the earliest images of communists in Germany that we have ever seen. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a large paper caption as well. Photo has wear but it presents well overall.
