Graphic 1920 photograph from the famed Nikolayevsk incident in which Japanese clashed with the Bolshevic's in Russia and were slaughtered under a flag of truce by the Russians. A rare, possibly unique image from one of the weirdest and most underappreciated times in the famous Russian revolution that we have ever seen! It shows a dead Japanese man on the shore of a river and with the paper note on the back noting that this was one of several like it found along the river.
