1917 Important photograph of a soldier in WWI wearing a new invention to help identify those that have been disfigured or decesed, a metal identification tage he wore around his neck. Tday these are referred to as dog-tags and are an essential piece of military history. A cool image stamped on the back with the date and with a full paper caption as well, this is the first of it's kind we have handled.
